I am a 22-year old male, currently a junior at Georgia Tech working on a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am looking to travel before I have to get a regular office job, and would love to sign on as crew on a ship, whether it be cruise, freight or whatever, that travels around to interesting places. I would like to see as much as possible, so I would prefer a ship that goes to a number of world ports, not just back and forth between one or two. I have no seamanship skills whatsoever (I am a good swimmer if that counts) but am a hard worker and very quick learner. My work experience consists of 7 summers as a farmhand/ manual laborer, one summer working in Yellowstone Nat'l Park, and approximately one year as an assistant engineer in Atlanta. If you have, or know someone who might have, a position I would be interested in please let me know. Money is not an issue, I would only hope to break even. Crew Wanted - LaVida, a 33' Cape Dory is looking for crew to share boat expenses on a trip from Norfolk, Va then on to the Caribbean for an island fall before New Years Eve of 1999. I sailed the pacific ocean to Hong Kong from Portland Oregon last year on a 77ft sled, 6 months.++ Double handed a 51 race/cruise sloop from HK to Singapore-Malaysia-Phuket, and crewed on 130ft schooner HK though microneasia to Figi this year. A bit of racing over the years too.

Dear Sir, I am currently a student in the biology field at a Philadelphia university. I am very interested in the field of fishing and am currently enrolled in a course that, very briefly, explores the nature of
