Vavla

 

Vavla is an authentic Cyprus village in the foothills near Lefkara, it is in the Larnaca district and is a pleasant destination for a quiet holiday in the Cypriot countryside. (May and October are superb for this)
The photos below were taken in the spring, when the blossoms are in bloom and the weather is soft, warm and wonderful.

There is a swimming pool in the next village ( Layia is about 2 miles and a very pleasant stroll) This is a great base from which to explore the many ancient sites and monasteries in the area.
