Old French cottage 'La perruche'
(the Parakeet) for sale in the Loire in France.

This old cottage is on the map as La Perruche (her name means the parakeet) near the town of Grand Pressigny.
It has more charm than substance, however there is a communal water well, a part which is completely demolished ( but with all the stone available) and is in a pleasant setting with the nearest neighbour on the opposite side of the road.

Not for the feint hearted but a potential delight. The cottage stands on a hill overlooking the attractive market town of Grande Pressigny where there is good shopping, hotels, restaurants, a swimming pool, tennis courts and horse riding as well as a medieval castle now housing a museum of pre-history.

The cottage itself is in a derelict condition, originally with fireplace in the main room, the loft above has enough headroom to make 2 rooms. There are 2 plots, consisting of  635 + 510 sq m totalling 1145 sq m
